FRANK DRAGNA

Like his fellow board members, Frank's involvement with Jack's Ride started from the inception of the organization. From soliciting donations to climbing trees to making sure there is enough light to see at the events, Frank is a great complement to what the rest of the team brings to the table. Frank also participates in fundraising for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society by cycling and "running". Obviously at a much slower pace than Leslie, Tina, and even Dan.

TINA MCELYEA

Tina has been a part of Jack's Ride since its inception. Being active in the community is nothing new for her, and pouring her heart into this cause comes naturally. In addition to her committment to Jack's Ride, Tina has fundraised for numerous charities, most notably The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by participating in endurance events. I will put Tina up against anyone in the art of soliciting donations.

Foundation History

our leadership team

Jack's Ride was established in 2011 in celebration of our son Jack who successfully battled Leukemia.

This foundation gives us the opportunity to give back to organizations that supported us during and after Jack's treatment, and continue to support Jack and others like him today.

Jack's Ride

LESLIE DRAGNA

There probably wouldn't be a Jack's Ride if it wasn't for Leslie. Her organizational skills, attention to detail and never-ending patience with her husband make sure we stay true to our mission and the events go off without a hitch. In addition to her Jack's Ride responsibilities, Leslie has raised money for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society by participating in events since soon after Jack's diagnosis in 2004.

DAN MCELYEA

Like his wife Tina, Dan has been involved since the beginning. We like to think of Dan as the voice of reason. Why you ask? Because Dan makes sure we don't spend more money than we have. In addition to being the gatekeeper of our finances, Dan is instrumental in the planning of our events and cooking a ton of crawfish. Like his wife, Dan has been involved with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as both a coach and participant for many years.

” I will never give up, and I will never give in. I will continue to keep fighting, sucking the marrow out of life, as life sucks the marrow out of me. I will live my life full of love and full of fun. It’s the only way I know how.”      -Scott Sager
